Terry McDermott grew up in Pitmedden, 5 miles from Ellon, Aberdeenshire and attended Ellon Academy. 

He moved to America to pursue his musical career and was runner up on The Voice USA in 2012. The band have been playing to sell-out crowds across the US and have just finished a mini UK tour which saw him release a new EP through an Aberdeen record label, returning home for the first time in about 5 years including playing a gig in Aberdeen
